After the takeover of AMOMED Pharma by AOP Orphan, I took on the role of Director Europe North. Responsible for the total P&L result for the Area North (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland (Nordics), United Kingdom, Ireland & Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg (Benelux)) and driving growth through successful orphan drug introductions in the Area.

After an organizational change I assumed the role of Country Manager, Netherlands, reporting to the GM UK & Nordics. Continuing as leader of the Dutch marketing and sales team I added to the previous role and became responsible for the P&L of Aspen Netherlands. Working closely with the shared HUB in Dublin and with the local logistics service provider on all supply chain matters including budget development, forecasting and out of stock management . During this period I succesfully led the transfer of 27 product brands, 70 skus, and managed the termination of two local distribution agreements.

I joined Aspen on 1 January 2014 as Commercial Head, Netherlands, following the aquisition of GSK's antithrombotic portfolio by Aspen. In this role I was in charge of the set-up of the newly established commercial operations with all related activities in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, Regulatory Affairs and Finance. Building a lean company from headcount of two to ten.
