About Judith O'Doherty

I help cities, regions, and towns to measure and improve their place performance as locations in which to Invest, Live, Visit and Study using Vista - a place analytics platform. I have led development of place brands and place marketing strategies for a diverse range of cities and regions including Dublin, Cork, North West City Region (Ireland), Tuscany, Trumbull County, Ohio and US Virgin Islands.I am passionate about all things place, and I created the Place Race conference, a platform for sharing best practices and insights on place marketing and management in Ireland. I also serve as a High Streets Task Force Expert, supporting the recovery and transformation of high streets in England and have worked with Local Authorities including Bolton, Sandwell and Waltham Forest. I have over 20 years of experience in foreign direct investment (FDI) and enterprise development, in both public sector and advisory roles, working internationally with regions to attract investment to their locations. I hold an MSc in Place Management and Leadership and a Pg Dip in Marketing
