Judith Keller was an Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she taught classes in Fluency Disorders, Clinical Methods and Foundations of the Profession. In addition to teaching duties, Judith (Judi) was a service provider and worked with individuals who have a communication disorder. She specialized in working with individuals who stutter and earned specialty recognition in Fluency Disorders from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She was a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has served as President of the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Past President (twice) and Chair of the Financial Advisory Committee. She was the President of the Council of State Association Presidents. She also served as Convention Consultant to the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She also served on the Texas Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Diagnostic Team.Specialties: Working with individuals who stutter.Now retired, Judi serves on the Board of Directors for the Lubbock Women's Club, St. Paul's Episcopal Church Women's Executive Board, and the Appointments Advisory Board for the City of Lubbock. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Parenting Cottage. She is the Founder and a member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Books.
