I started my nursing career at Piedmont Hospital, participating in their intern program and experiencing 4 different units including med-surg and orthopedics. I am amazed that at 23 yo I was handling a 40 bed orthopedic unit on the evening shift! I left there to pursue surgical suite nursing at Kennestone Hospital, now WellStar, specializing in Urology Nursing. I travelled during that period teaching urological nursing certification classes at Johns Hopkins and in Chicago and Dallas to name a few. A desire to work with a group of urologists that I admired led to a clinic position to manage their potency restoration center. I later moved into an outside sales position with a company that sold cabinetry build out for hospitals, pharmacies and medical office space. I was part of a team that closed and managed a large renovation at Grady Memorial Hospital.My strong leadership skills and bent for artistry led me into aesthetics and I partnered in a MedSpa until 2009. The following year I took over A New You Skin & Body Clinic and grew it over the next several years into a multi million dollar enterprise that has a strong following throughout our surrounding area. I am passionate about creating a healthy corporate culture, providing success strategies that are motivating and offering the safest, highest skill level services possible. A keen entrepreneurial spirit has allowed me to develop marketing strategies that provided us with 10%+ growth every year as a single chair injector with 4 estheticians providing other key services. I am proud that my staff average tenure is 8 years!
