Work per diem registering patients and drawing their blood. Work at various stations throughout the year as needed.

Trumbell, Ct

I worked half of my career there in analytical chemistry. I did sample prep and analysis using primarily gas and liquid chromatography. I also spent time doing some wet lab analysis. The rest of my time was spent in other departments doing everything from product development to research guidance testing on personal care products.

Derby, Ct

I worked as an MLT rotating through all the departments which, at the time, included chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and bacteriology (now called microbiology). I both drew blood and analyzed it. Over time I went from a lot of wet chemistry method analysis to using fairly sophisticated instruments. In addition, I also did EKG's.
