I am Judith Muller, an experienced and registered frail care nurse, counsellor and trainer with a passion for helping the elderly and sick and disabled patients people overcome complex challenges and lead high quality lives. Applying expertise in age, palliative and personal care, I provide effective, evidence-based care aimed at producing measurable results. In my role, I am able to identify signs of illness or deteriorating health in a patient, treat them appropriately and provide ongoing support for clients and their families. Previously, I worked to improve mental health and physical outcomes for people with HIV.My credentials include: ✔ Diploma in General Nursing ✔ Diploma in Midwifery✔ Registration by the SA Nursing Council ✔ 10 years+ as a supervisor, nurse, counsellor and trainer ✔ 6 years + setting up a practice, community outreach and mentorship for university graduates and volunteers What sets me apart is my strong commitment to the highest standards of personal care and a history of getting things done. This means consulting with doctors, carrying out medical instructions and, if necessary, sourcing alternative treatment for my patients. Ineffective care can often do more harm than good, and can potentially lull patients into a sometimes-life-threatening sense of complacency. My focus is on motivating patients and colleagues to commit to strive towards a high quality, productive and optimal health plan (mental and physical).I excel in training in formal settings as well as mentoring new and future corporate, home, volunteer and other personal care professionals. Whether relating to patients, staff, providers, peers or vendors, I approach each role with professionalism, compassion, energy and integrity and enjoy working collaboratively with my teams to put our patients first in everything we do. I’m currently looking for opportunities! Let’s connect!
