WHO I AMI champion operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within technology and engineering organizations.WHAT I DOI started at Insitu as a technical writer, then became a technical projects specialist, followed by about a dozen years managing the continuous improvement program and engineering support services. In that role, I supervised and developed a 16-member core team, managed $2M+ budgets, and drove complex projects. I oversaw the portfolio of Engineering improvement initiatives to direct the development and implementation of projects executing simultaneously to drive operational excellence, used process performance metrics and business intelligence data to evaluate and prioritize improvement initiatives, and ensure that the project managers were able to plan and execute for completion against timelines and goals. I also led engineering application systems analysts to model, sustain, and optimize the architecture and data flow of 50+ specialized engineering applications to ensure data integrity, productivity, and quality standards. I am committed to boosting quality standards and eliminating inefficiencies while applying best practices to ensure operational excellence and scalability. Recently, I became the Director of Quality, overseeing a team of nearly 30 employees. We are a service organization comprised of quality engineers, technicians, and analysts. In addition to a focus on excellent product quality for our customers, we are an AS9100 certified business and my team helps ensure that Insitu's Quality Management System is healthy. SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS♦ Implement Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for digital transformation and a PLM digital thread based on Aras Innovator platform, hiring Scrum team and integrating Agile software development process with Lean improvement methods.♦ Establish program for engineering process and information systems continuous improvement, to increase maturity, traceability, efficiency, and quality within product engineering organization.♦ Implement Application Portfolio Management (APM) system in a relational database to facilitate portfolio planning efficiency.♦ Develop organizational change management (OCM) strategies for accelerated adoption by the user communities impacted by change.♦ Co-founder of the Women Inspiring Leadership resource group for encouraging diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).♦ Recipient of 2014 STEP Ahead Award by Manufacturing Institute and 2012 Executive Citation for Leadership by Insitu.
