For the past 22 years I have had the pleasure of working within the order department at Erasmus Boekhandel & Antiquariaat, Amsterdam. I found the work to be fitting to my skills as a social and reliable member of a team. It enabled me to expand my knowledge of the art and literature of the world as well as my own personal library! However having reached the stage in my life where my children have reached adulthood I felt it was time for a change. I am currently pursuing the achievement of a college degree in social work while recently having started work at NLtraining, a Dutch language school providing language courses and examination training for people who wish to or are required to integrate or attain Dutch citizenship. Here too, I am happy to say that the elements of teamwork and the acquiring of new knowledge that I enjoyed at my previous position remain.
