I graduated from nursing school in 1974 and have a myriad of nursing experiences. While in nursing school I worked at The National Institute of Health at a contracted labratory (Microbiological Associates) doing tissue cultures for experimental work in progress. After graduating from Montgomery College with a Nursing Degree, I worked on a Medical/Surgical unit for one year in Washington, D.C.After moving to California with my husband, I worked at a small hospital where I was able to work in Intensive Care, Hemodialysis, Emergency Department, and a Medical Surgical Unit. Nurses at this small desert hospital were cross trained and you worked where the need was the greatest.I worked in a busy base station Emergency Department and was a Mobile Intensive Care Ncare urse for twenty years.I have been working in Home Health since 2000 and was the Director of Patient Care Services at Maxim Healthcare Services. I was then a Clinical Manager at Lorian Health where we grew the business to 200-300 Medicare home care patients.
