buro bordo is een projectstudio gespecialiseerd in kunst en design opgericht door Judith Öfner en Jessica Voorwinde. buro bordo adviseert, organiseert en ontwikkelt diverse projecten zoals tentoonstellingen, kunstinstallaties en design-evenementen.Sinds 2005 werken wij beiden in de culturele sector op het terrein van projectmanagement, communicatie, marketing en PR. Op de middelbare school zijn we goed bevriend geraakt en in 1998 vertrokken we tegelijk naar Amsterdam, waar we vervolgens altijd in elkaars leven betrokken zijn gebleven. In 2018 besloten we om onze expertise en netwerk te bundelen. Bevlogenheid, doelgerichtheid en flexibiliteit zijn slechts een paar karaktereigenschappen die ons beiden typeren en die van ons een team maken. Inhoud, strategie en actie is waar we voor staan.Als projectleiders zijn we gespecialiseerd in kunst-, en designprojecten, maar ook in fashion, architectuur en andere culturele velden hebben wij ervaring. De Universiteit Twente nodigde kunstenaars en ontwerpers uit om een plan in te dienen voor een nieuw kunstwerk op de campus van de universiteit ter ere van hun zestigjarige bestaan in 2021. De kunstcommissie (CAAC) koos voor het project The Head van Atelier van Lieshout. Vanuit buro bordo zijn we als projectleider betrokken.

La Biennale di Venezia 2017 - Cinema OlandaFor the Mondriaan Fund I was involved as a assistant curator of the Dutch entry at the 57th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia 2017. The exhibition Cinema Olanda, a project from artist Wendelien van Oldenborgh and curator Lucy Cotter, takes place from 9 May till 26 November 2017.

FARM OF THE WORLD FARM OF THE WORLD is a project in which artists, designers, architects, gardeners, chefs and many other participants examine the value of the countryside, both now and in the future. This plan has been developed within the framework of LF2018. I am involved in this project as a curator / producer.

Architecture Biennale Venice 2016 - BLUE: Architecture of UN Peacekeeping MissionsFor Het Nieuwe Instituut I was involved as project manager of the Dutch entry at the 15th Architecture Biennale in Venice. The presentation BLUE: Architecture of UN Peacekeeping Missions by curator Malkit Shoshan, took place in the Rietveld Pavilion from June to November 2016.

La Biennale di Venezia 2015 - to be all ways to beFor the Mondriaan Fund I was involved as a assistant curator of the Dutch entry at the 56th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia 2015. The exhibition to be all ways to be with work of herman de vries took place from 9 May till 22 November 2015.

Amsterdam for Cultural ExpressionIn 2015 the Prince Claus Funds organised it's first benefit gala, together with the Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam. As a projectmanager I was responsable for the Prince Claus Fund-side of this grand event.

For Het Nieuwe Instituut I wrote and executed a communication and marketing project plan for three exhibitions: Prix de Rome 2014 / New Material Award / 1:1 Period Rooms by Andreas Angelidakis.

Architecture Biennale Venice 2014 - Open: A Bakema Celebration For Het Nieuwe Instituut I was involved in the project coordination of the Dutch entry at the 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice. The presentation 'Open: A Bakema Celebration' took place in the Rietveld Pavilion from June to November 2014.

For the Node Center I gave an online course: 'project management: exhibitions, events, public programs and more'. November 2014

For Museum Arnhem I wrote a subsidy application for the presentation in Erfgoedcentrum Rozet.
