I lead the team of editors that is responsible for reviewing journal applications for inclusion in DOAJ. The team works remotely and consists of full or part-time managing editors plus over 100 volunteer editors from all over the world.DOAJ indexes more than 20 000 open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities.DOAJ is a vital part of the open access infrastructure, as well as a global community, with team members, ambassadors and volunteers based in 45 countries around the world, speaking 36 languages.

Senior member of the editorial team responsible for reviewing journal applications for inclusion in DOAJ. My role included managing the workload of the distributed team to ensure applications (>10 000 per year) are handled quickly and efficiently.
