About Judith Brands

I studied biomedical engineering (cardiovascular biomechanics) and obtained a Ph.D. in cardiovascular physiology. I have a passion for science and spent 10 years as an academic researcher in Pittsburgh doing basic and translational research. After returning to the Netherlands, I started working at the University of Twente. At the UT, I am now the programme manager for biomedical engineering.
