In 2016 I was invited by Dr. Anthony Shelton, Professor of Art History, Visual Art and Theory at the University of British Columbia, to participate in a collective research and exhibition in contemporary Mexican masks, for the city of Lisbon, elected by the Union of Ibero-American Capital Cities to be the 2017 Capital of Culture. The exhibition "From Carnival to Lucha Libre" was a success and a catalog with two of my articles is published. My research is focused on Tastoanes and Coras traditions, ethnical groups from the Pacific side of Mexico, I was able to interview and research specifically their artistry work in ceramic, leather, and paper mache, and the importance to wear a mask not as a disguise but as a way of transformation.

Incomes for the festival increased by 35% from 2014 to 2015.• Created, developed and adequately ensured the impact of Social Media in campaigns; conducted press releases and creating of videos and photographic campaigns; monitored media and create visual content, achieving a 200% success on media traffic.• Successfully organized and distributed incoming film material from past years directors’ submissions, data processing in large scale volume.

• Recruited, coordinated and supervised volunteer team (from 40 up to 80 members each year), building exceptional improvement in the local coordination headquarters Guadalajara, and making the volunteer team "Team of the year" for 2 years in a row.• Liaison between National Festival with local sponsors, media, venues and partners, providing a smooth landing for the annual activities in Guadalajara.• Technical support as venue liaison for all the screenings (60 films each year).• Calendar management for each venue’s activities, designating volunteers and supervising guest’s assistance.
