I managed legal affairs in development, M&A, project finance, procurement, construction, and operations. During my tenure Recurrent Energy secured more than $4B of project financing, developed and sold more than 700 MW of solar PV projects and executed more than 1 GW of long term power purchase agreements. I directed complex negotiations with counterparties including Google, Mitsubishi, KKR, NRG, Duke Energy, MetLife, Southern California Edison, and Sharp Corporation.

Babcock & Brown is a global investment banking firm which finances, acquires and operates solar, wind, aircraft, rail, shipping and real estate assets. In this role, I managed corporate legal affairs and international commercial transactions involving financings, M&A, renewable power, divestitures and joint ventures. I handled legal matters in the firm's 28 worldwide offices and securities issues relating to the firm's registered broker-dealer and investment advisor.I guided the firm through a complex IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange and managed post-IPO regulatory compliance matters.

Pillsbury Winthrop is a full-service law firm with a particular focus on energy, financial services and real estate. As a member of the Energy & Infrastructure practice group, I handled M&A, complex commercial transactions, and general corporate matters. My practice focused on renewable energy, real estate, construction and financial services clients.

Prior to law school, I provided engineering consulting services to utilities including Arizona Public Service, Florida Power & Light, Nebraska Public Power District, PG&E, San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison. My technical expertise included environmental analyses, regulatory compliance and probabilistic risk assessment.
