I am a solicitor in the Immigration Team, specialising in all aspects of UK Immigration and Nationality law. I have advised Universities and Employers in relation to their obligations under their Sponsor Licences for their overseas students and workers in complex issues around student admissions and employing skilled and temporary workers.I also offer mock audits to Employers so that they can ensure if they receive a visit from the UKVI Compliance teams, they are compliant and making sure they are following the correct reporting and recording procedures in line with their sponsor licences. I provide training to both Universities and Employers to ensure they keep up to date with everchanging Immigration Rules. These sessions can be tailored to meet any training needs organisations require.I also have a private individual caseload, helping couples where one of them is a settled person in the UK or a British citizen and the other is an overseas national and they both want to live in the UK. These applications under Appendix FM are obviously very important to both of them whether it is the initial application under entry clearance or further leave to remain in the UK (FLR) or an application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK (ILR). I also provide advice on applications under the Points Based System (PBS), such as Skilled Workers and for UK Ancestry, Global Talent and applications for British citizenship
