Judith Joan Walker is the COO of African Clean Energy (ACE), a company manufacturing clean energy products including the ACE One Hybrid Energy System. Through ACE she is focussed on proving new techniques and best practices for distributing RE technologies that put the focus on excellent customer services and accurate data collection in order to create replicable methods of distribution to underserved populations. Judith was named 2016 Forbes Top 30 Under 30 European Social Entrepreneur, the Winner of the Chivas Venture Netherlands 2017, a finalist for the Ashden Awards 2017 for the ‘Clean Energy and Women & Girls’ category, a Global Finalist in the 2017 Global Inclusion Awards and is a GSBI Alumna.

We believe that true financial inclusion is not just “banking” unbanked customers, but using financial services to help them save costs, become more independent and expand the offering available to a customer. The SDG ACE Foundation has identified energy as a major expense that is financially and environmentally inefficient (not to mention deadly) and sees a way to re-allocate those wasted expenses through micro-financing services that save the customer money and improve their quality of life.
