MD/PhD & certified immunologist with background in biomedical sciences. I currently work on novel immunotherapies in pediatric oncology and supervise 5 PhD candidates as co-promotor and 1 technician. I hold a PhD in human translational immunology and have extensive experience with data-analysis of large datasets in R, including single-cell RNA sequencing of tumors and their immune-environments. I enjoy teaching, have extensive laboratory experience in (tissue) T cell immunology and biomarker research, have coordinated a nation-wide observational clinical study, and have experience with (initializing & coordinating) international collaborations in multiple projects.
