I love working in education and libraries! Because of this most of my experience has been in higher education as a Course Reserve Supervisor, Research and Writing Center Supervisor, academic coordinator, academic advisor, composition instructor, and office manager. The thing I loved most about my last position as a Course Reserve Supervisor for the BYU Library was that I was playing a direct role in advocating for students by making course materials more affordable.

Academic Programming CoordinatorArizona State University Oct 2015 - Aug 2016Tempe, Az, UsAs an academic coordinator for the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at ASU, I helped to create a new undergraduate program in a new school. I worked mostly with a team of three individuals: the upcoming undergraduate chair, the assistant director of the new school, and me. This project required creating policies and standards for the program and sending in many forms to meet the specific requirements of the Provost Office and then submitting it for approval. I helped with all aspects of the program: the degree requirements, the creation of 19 new undergraduate courses, the creation of new webpages for recruiting, and many other tasks associated with getting a program up and running in a very large university. Because of our hard work we were awarded the 2016 Director's Service Award. -
