Working with students with disabilities after leaving the high school after their senior year, they enter an adult education program to help them with everyday skills to prepare them for life after the program. The program is from age 18-21, while during that time, students learn how to count money, open a bank account, take public transportation, grocery shopping, interviewing skills for future jobs/internships. They learn about the area they live in, learning bus and train schedules. Some students are in college classes and may need help with notation during class. We prepare them as much as possible for life after high school.
