As CEO and Founder of the Foundation for Racial Equity in Education (F.R.E.E), I help leaders and organizations persist unapologetically in pursuit of their visions. I explore how bold strategy, anti-racist practices, and core values-based leadership development work together to help leaders and organizations (re)ignite their superpowers and (re)imagine what’s possible.I currently serve as a school principal for Noble Schools - the largest charter district in Chicago. I lead our largest and only multi-site campus: Gary Comer Middle School which serves a little shy of 300 students grades 6-8 and Gary Comer College Prep High School that serves 750 students grades 9-12. In this role I am privileged to lead a team of 150 educators and a leadership team of 30+ administrators and senior leaders.  I have been a school administrator for 8 of my 16 years in education. In addition to my background as a school administrator, I also have nearly a decade of experience as an organizational leader in both non and for profit contexts. In these roles, I led DEIB strategy, talent & leadership development initiatives, and executive operations at the regional and national level.
