I am board certified as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. I am also board certified as a CVNP For the last five years, I have been caring for Inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery patients; preop, critical post-op thru discharge. I continue to do that occasionally but my current position is Hospital based Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner. I have been in nursing for over 35 years, with 25 years as an advanced practice RN, specifically a CNS for Critical Care and Telemetry Service line: covering three Telemetry Units, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU and Cardiac Surgery ICU. I am CCRN and AANP NP certified. I love my profession and serve as a mentor for NPs and guest speaker. Recently, I have been adjunct faculty at CSUS working with graduate nurses. It’s a delight to share my passion for this ministry of helping people achieve their optimal state of health
