Recruit volunteers to serve as advocates for abused, neglected, endangered children in Volusia, Flagler, Putnam, and St. Johns counties. Using Microsoft Office Products, create and manage contact databases for dissemination of program information. Write press releases, create flyers, and disseminate information to public about GAL Program. Furnish reports to administration for program management and monitoring. Public Speaking with community groups, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and clubs, homeowners associations and interested individuals to provide information about the Guardian ad Litem program. Contact local media outlets and Internet-based groups to provide public service announcements, interviews and human interest sotires about the program.
