I've realized within all my past work experiences until now, all of them have given me a purpose. I use all those experiences to develop myself into a better person. I soak up all information to make a better plan. My job right now is to guide, train and lead 80 individuals into a field of understanding not only professionally but in their personal lives. I believe everyone should be valued and given the opportunity to be successful. Everyone's success isn't the same, however, inside the feelings are the same. Developing a team within a single state and bringing eight remote sites together has been my greatest success story.What lead me to that story is my past working experiences. People are not taught how to lead others; they assume they can because someone else choose them. Understanding people is the most difficult part of any manager's job. The right the wrongs that happen, you have to fix or praise them. The path that has led me to my current situation and feelings is based on experiences I've had over the last 10 years and my father's words to me. I was a manager of 10 employees, and it was going great. Smooth as silk and everyone enjoyed their job... I was becoming bored. I told my father this and he said to me, "do you realize when you get bored you move from job to job looking for more"? I didn't, but it made sense to me after I thought about it. I set out to accomplish more than expected from my boss just because I needed to be busy, and things can always be better. I was running a small OTB gaming site and I decided to use the information given to be and all the managers to create a trouble shooting booklet. I used this for my employees when I wasn't there for assistance in fixing gaming terminals and other IT issues. Also, names and numbers of those individuals I called for help. I gave it to my boss to think about possibly sharing this will the other managers, she laughed.
