Most importantly, Judy is the sole reason for the very successful Admin Team (A-Team). As the saying goes, “See a need, fill a need” and that’s exactly what she did. As a new employee, Judy sought out a resource to learn about her job responsibilities. When she discovered that there was no such resource, she created one. It was Judy’s leadership that made the A-Team a reality. The result of her efforts is a group which benefits all staff. As a true leader, she listens to the needs of the staff and schedules monthly brown bag lunches to address these needs. She networks with people all across the university and even outside the university to bring in the most knowledgeable person to provide training. The sessions provide a much-needed opportunity for Wright State staff to engage, network, and learn strategies that will help them tackle common tasks found university-wide. WSU Staff members attending these training are able to return to their desks and immediately apply new skills, making them exponentially more effective and efficient in their jobs. They also benefit from the feeling of comradery and support resulting in a more engaged and motivated workforce.", "Ms. Grant is an amazing and caring individual.
