I have enjoyed serving as a Financial Consultant with Wells Fargo Advisors or its predecessor firms for more than 36 years. I focus my experience and education on helping clients build, manage and protect their wealth through strategic income planning and portfolio implementation, including insurance, long term care and Social Security reviews. My personal and business philosophy is simple: treating others as I wish to be treated.I joined the Cooper Scoggin Financial Strategies Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in July 2012. This leverages my strengths with those of Financial Advisors Ritchy Scoggin and Duane Cooper who have over 50 years of combined investment advisory experience. We believe that our collaborative approach works for the benefit of our clients.I was born in Texas. My family roots go back five generations in the Lockhart / Red Rock area although I was raised in an Air Force family and lived in many places, including Japan and Germany, before graduating from high school in South Houston, Texas. I earned my BA from the University of Texas and taught at Del Valle High School for several years before accepting a position in the oil and gas business in Fort Worth, and, later, in Houston. In 1981 I returned to Austin and joined the financial services industry so that I could combine my experience and education with my investment planning knowledge to provide a broad spectrum of financial services to my clients.
