As a clinical educator, I serve in a variety of functions within both hospital and outpatient settings. I currently evaluate, advise leadership, create and incorporate both non-clinical and clinical programs that improve medical practices for patients' safety and well-being. Additionally, I am responsible for drafting curriculums to satisfy educational requirements for other medical personnel. Furthermore I act as a mentor to the hospital staff, functioning as a source of information for those around me, helping departments assess, set goals for educational programs and updating them when called for on state/federal requirements. Additionally, I teach General Orientation for the facility, AHA/ARC Basic Life Support, Electronic Health Record and any other courses as required.

Leads and mentors 375 medical and surgical technicians, annually supporting 2.1M in and out patient appointments within a $1.6B budget. Co-led Nursing Executive Function for the facility. Overseeing all Nursing program, reporting on technician level trainings to include instituting a peer review program for all surgical and medical technicians. Hired & supervised Department of Defense Civilians, Contractors and Active Duty Personnel to run Hospital Education and Training Programs. Revived Medical Group enlisted nursing training rotations, reviewed 369 position and coordinated movement within 28 different units. Coordinated with 7 squadron leadership teams, utilized conflict resolution skills to work out and maintain mandated rotations.

Principal advisor to the Air Force Surgeon General and Medical Career Field manager, for 721 surgical technicians. Recruited and retained qualified staff for all the Otolaryngology, Urology and Orthopedic Surgical Specialties. Evaluated 1.2K curriculum hours and validated 8 instructor positions and a $955K annual budget. Monitored career field manpower, reviewed 22 hospital's surgical manning, validated $2M in additional requirements to gap fill vacant active duty positions.

Advised the Squadron Commander on the Air Force's largest Surgical Operations Squadron. Led 450 members, 10 enlisted career fields within 7 Specialty flight. Providing care for over 560K Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs beneficiaries.Ensured compliance with AF's upgrade training programs. Managed and reviewed all annual officer and enlisted performance reports. Led office promotion review folder reviews and management of civilian awards. Guided the squadron's surgical and respiratory therapy education Phase II programs.Validated Squadron's $28M budget, managed patient safety program and the unit's readiness requirements, to include allocating 56 personnel to fill UTCsPrepared Squadron for Air Force and National accrediting inspections to include Joint Commission, initiates process improvement programs and running Operating Room utilization programs.
