Manage supplier relationships for all material components supporting Starbucks roasting plants globally. Manage daily, all raw material ingredients “end to end” within STARBUCKS supply chain. This includes inventory positioned at 25 assembly locations, multiple Broad liners and ingredient suppliers.

Front day to day supply and labor readiness, oversee 7 contracted fresh food assemblers with daily operations across the US/CN. Overseeing daily metrics of producing and delivering product on time and in full. Monitoring all raw material and packaging inventory to contractual levels.Administer 2 contracted frozen assemblers responsible for breakfast and lunch assembly across the US/CN. Oversee the management of Raw material inventory, Ramp up on new product launches and daily production to achieve supply balance while maintaining top line sales.Proficiently managed 6 laminate bakeries responsible for both tier 1 and tier 2 products within the Starbucks Bakery portfolio. Monitor Daily production, inventory management of all unique ingredients and overall production capacity resulting in increasing top line sales.Managed 18 packaged food suppliers with custom packaging and ingredients-created strategies to reduce long lead times while achieving a 30% YOY increase. Mitigate write-off , conserve capacity, raw material inventory, film and packaging buys with all upstream 2nd tier supply sources and co-packers, and provide risk analyses for ingredient and component changes, including all limited time offer promotions.Initiate supplier stocking agreements which helps to support the fluctuations in forecast, lowers lead times and mitigates associated risk on unique ingredients, packaging and raw materials, and successfully launched the VIA product platform within five major co-manufactures and 3 roasting plants, as well as uphold the Starbucks “Siren” logo change on all coffee roll stock.

Coordinated with the build out of 259 retail stores in 2007 and 250 retail stores in 2008, managed an overall spend of $500K per store, and assumed and successfully achieved over 20 operating real estate projects in 2007 and 2008.Keenly participated in 120 retail store conversions in Puerto Rico, Project was successfully completed within 3 months, resolved $20 million dollars in outstanding invoices for client, and established process improvements. Empowered business owners on contract enhancements, implemented rebate programs which resulted in $150K annually in 2007 which doubled to $300K annually in 2008, and chaired quarterly business reviews on 22 suppliers for performance. Led and supervised a team of 6 coordinators responsible for the placement of over 10,000 purchase orders annually and the scheduling of over 8,000 deliverables of product and services.

Implemented cost containment, continuous process improvement, and improved supplier relations, procurement of hundreds of maintenance, repairs & operations MRO products from 200+ suppliers, and managed a staff of three.Recommended the standardization of products and use of product bundling reduced overall cycle time on purchasing volume by 50%, and initiated procedural changes included bulk purchasing, order consolidation, preferred supplier selection and product bidding. Introduced early supplier involvement and Statement of Work (SOW) inclusion within service contracts and supplier confidentiality agreements.

Procured an extensive line of components used for bath and beauty products from a supply base located mainly in China and Canada, designed forecasting spreadsheets, to maintain continual flow of components to contracted fill suppliers, resulting in on time delivery to market and reducing overall total cost of ownership of inventory.Promoted early supplier involvement to reduce overall time to market.
