As part of the General Laboratory Replacement Project of the Systems Solutions and Deployment Department, responsibilities include providing technical support to end-users for the implementation of the Cerner Millennium laboratory software, and act as liaison between end-users and the Regional Command Center during the Go-Live periods at Kaiser Permanente’s medical centers and office buildings in Southern California. Additionally, responsibilities include assisting lab managers in streamlining laboratory workflow, performing ordinal risk assessments of technical issues, assisting trainers in classes during the pre-Go-Live periods, preparing the training materials, assembling job aids reference guides, and performing patient wait time surveys to better customer service.

Assisted project managers in the coordination, scheduling, budget and cost control, and execution of projects using standard WBS to develop the critical path method network. Also, assisted in preparing reports pertinent for project monitoring and reporting to upward management.

As contractor to Layne Christensen Company, assisted project managers in coordinating the construction activities for numerous barrier wells. Attended progress meetings with contractors and team members, and proposed resolution to ensure project completion time. Cost loaded project schedule was presented to the Orange County Water District to track project status.

As part of Division of Program and Project Management, researched, developed, implemented, and operational tested project management systems. Also, provided technical support, developed training manuals/guidance, and trained managers for the business systems. Other duties included assisting in formulating management policies and documenting standard operational procedures, coordinating project management decisions, database management and maintenance for QA/QC, web applications development, participate and conduct meetings, and delivering reports and presentations to the executive staff.

Worked as a member of the Transportation Finance and Technology (TFT) Group to analyze travel demands for toll facilities. Responsibilities included model network development, matrix manipulations, computer simulations, cost-revenue projection analysis, traffic impact analysis, marketing studies and support, report and proposal writing, management of data collection teams for various studies, and interactions with public and private relations nationally and abroad.

Drafted framing plans and designed timber trusses for the roofing of new residential homes, and room additions.
