Judy Rex has been an employee of the Scottsdale School District in Arizona for the past twenty years, where she has taught and coached in multi-age K-8 classrooms. She has also been a professional development facilitator specializing in differentiated curriculum, instructional strategies for diverse student populations, and positive classroom management. Judy has been the recipient of the Scottsdale Mayor’s Council Award for the successful inclusion of special needs children in her general ed classroom, as well as an award for District Teachers of the Year. Prior to teaching in Scottsdale, she taught at the middle school level in southern California followed by the pre-school level in Phoenix, AZ. As a member of the ASCD faculty, she has consulted and coached internationally on Differentiated Instruction for eleven years.
