As a consultant at Orbit Reuse, I apply my research and policy skills to develop reuse systems for various sectors and contexts. I have 2.5+ years of experience in conducting packaging research and understanding the systems approach to reuse for global supply chains and local implementation. My mission is to create the development of a reuse ecosystem for businesses that is sustainable, circular, and inclusive.Previously I was a research associate at the University of Portsmouth, where I focus on plastics policy. My thesis examined the problems of end of life boats and owner awareness, and won the Thesis Prize in Marine and Coastal Resource Management. I am part of a team of four that developed the Global Plastics Policy Centre, a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration on plastics issues. I have strong analytical skills, impact evaluation, and research methods, as well as a background in sailing instruction and orthodontics.
