Responsible for coordinating the college-wide effort to integrate Career Readiness across the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) at the University of Minnesota. Career Readiness provides a core competency framework for liberal arts students to understand and articulate the value of their liberal arts education. Provide leadership and strategy of the overall initiative as well as individual projects including the development of resources and tools used by 13,000 CLA students. The initiative encompasses working collaboratively with faculty, academic departments, University partners, and all student services units in the college including the Office of Student Experience, Advising, and Career Services. Milestones include the development of a Career Readiness Guide, CLA Get Ready site, College-wide Internship Strategy and support tools for students, RATE (on-line reflective and 10 self assessment instruments), MyCareerManagement (a recommendation tool for nudging students to take a next step in their career journey), Post-Graduation Survey system-wide project leadership, .

Matching entry-level talent to organizations utilizing an in-depth process including a thorough job analysis and interview process resulting in a “right person – right seat” placement.
