I owned and managed a gift and beverage retail store on Main Street in Winneconne, Wisconsin for four years. The Village of WInneconne is renown for its fishing, water sports and other attractions, so my customers included local residents, tourists and shoppers from the Fox River Valley and other area of Wisconsin and the nation as well as local residents. I researched, ordered, priced and displayed a wide variety of merchandise and consumables, and created and executed effective promotions for the store. As a member of the Winneconne Area Chamber, the Civic League of Winneconne and other local organizations and ad hoc groups, I've worked with other retail store owners and local civic leaders and government official in Winneconne to present and promote the downtown area. I am now furthering my education at UW-Fox Valley. I hope to use my marketing degree after I re-open my store I currently am working on a business plan for that project.Specialties: I've been successful at designing and implementing promotions and special events and I particularly enjoy the creativity and team-worksituations they often require. With more than XX years experience with the public, vendors, government official, media and other people who support small businesses, I have been told I am enjoyable to work with, honest, creative and energetic.
