This was not an easy task as we had to move 120 agents around in their current office to make room to drop in 200 agents from an entirely different office, drop them into one big office and then blend them into one big happy family. We did it with very little breakage. I managed approx. 25 staff members, to include but not limited to, property management, relocation, marketing, office manager, three sales managers and all staff underneath that group. I also managed approx. 300 agents. My greatest accomplishment as GM of Watson Realty ERA was merging the Marketplace office into the Watson/Touchstone office. This was a very difficult and lengthy process. While I was in the negotiation process with the marketplace agents, there was work to be done to make room for these agents at their new destination as well. I met with the architectand put together a plan reconstruct offices on the first floor to accommodate the incoming Marketplace agents. I had to oversee and manage the construction of the first floor improvements. After many months of being very strategic and earning the trust of these agents, I was able to bring all of the Marketplace agents into the office across the street with zero breakage! By closing down the Marketplace office, we were able to save approx. $400,000 annually. Through this process, I developed some wonderful friendships with some pretty wonderful people which I have been fortunate to keep as my friends, despite my departure from Watson in 2011. I'm grateful for the knowledge and experience which was offered to me throughout my wonderful time at Watson Realty ERA. Life is a journey and this stop that I made at Watson was a gift from the Lord and I will always be grateful. Show less -

I managed 220 agents, approx. 15 staff members. I did training, recruiting, team building, etc.. We moved from one office to another in 2006 and then in 2007, I worked silently with my broker/owner at Touchstone and Watson's broker/owner to bring together the big merge together, which happened in 2007. My job and strength was not to handle the details with both companies as it pertains to big picture. My job was to take two separate companies with two totally different woking environments, bring them together, strategically weave them into one another without them actually feeling the impact and making them ONE big happy family. Done!My greatest accomplishment with Touchstone Real Estate Group was when one of the past brokers of the company got angry and tried to do some damage to our agents/company by dispersing them out without a broker. I contacted the out of town owner, his team, attorney, CPA, etc. and immediately brought my staff together, we double timed it, figured out how to correct ASAP and then got it done. I then brought 75 angry confused agents into one large conference room, diffused them all, everyone left happy and it was back to business. That was a day for the books. My greatest memory from this company is that I found the perfect boss. Jeff Sanders was the owner of the company. I have worked since I was 15 years old, I will be 53 this Sat. and I have never had a boss as great as Jeff Sanders. I love him.. He is the ultimate best guy to work for. Ever! We are still friends today.. Show less
