Provided skilled nursing care to home bound patients

Working at the forefront of community-based disease education and prevention, I administered vaccinations to 1000+ students and staff members at local schools. I also presented age-appropriate information to students and staff to increase awareness and knowledge of healthy self-care practices.

As the leader of a 45-person sales team, I coached them in skills and techniques to reach their personal goals and and propeled our unit to national recognition. In this role, I planned and held meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of my team.

I applied my nursing skills to care for critically ill patients and those at risk for life-threatening health problems. I assessed patients' condition and planned and implemented care plans. I treated wounds, provided advanced life support, and assisted physicians with a variety of critical procedures. I communicated effectively with staff, doctors, patients and families, and acted as a patient advocate and educator.

I improved the overall quality of life for Soldiers and their families by successfully leading a team of nurses in providing evidence-based treatment in a friendly manner.
