Started the Leadership Arts program for Collin County using a ten-month grant. As an alumna of the Dallas Leadership Arts program, I was honored to extend the program to Collin County.

I managed and created content marketing strategy and created web content, newsletter articles, talking points, white papers and provided event support to build relationships and drive incremental sales for revenue-generating projects for the Departments of Defense, Justice and Homeland Security clients. I managed marketing/communications to the Navy and Marine Corps account -- including 700,000 active servicemen, servicewomen and civilians at more than 2,000 locations -- and created content and supported programs that helped HP win the 2013 Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract with the Department of the Navy. I developed web content to explain all system upgrades and software and security launches to users on Navy the extranet – from strategy to posting content online and learned html coding.Other accomplishment included the following:Created marketing strategy plan and content that earned HP $1.2 million profit for marketing/communications due to the importance of communicating to all users Drove client communications programs that increased customer satisfaction from 81.5 percent to more than 90 percent in two years, culminating in a $3 billion contract renewalCreated web content to explain all system upgrades and software and security launches to users on Navy extranet – from strategy to posting content online. Learned html codingHeld secret-level security clearance required for my work with Navy personnel and contractors.

I supported the EDS Strategic Sales Centre by providing marketing and presentation strategy and by leveraging strategy into innovative custom videos, websites and other marketing vehicles for presentations to key pursuits worth than $100 million, Fortune 500 clients and prospects worldwide. Collaborated with European Strategic Sales Centre as well as sales personnel in Canada, the Far East and Australia. In addition, I managed events and materials for deal signings and celebrations, employee transitions, presentations and proposals. Provided research, content development and writing support for request for proposal (RFP) responses to help increase win rate. I developed all communications for the new EDS-Cisco Alliance. Led marketing efforts including event marketing at the EDS Byron Nelson Golf Championship, EDS sales conference, Cisco conferences and trade shows. In this role, I created marketing strategy/value propositions, sales presentation materials including custom videos for large sales pursuits worth from $100 million to $4.3 billion. In my role at EDS I worked with key executives at all levels throughout the company.

I developed and managed marketing strategy; website development; web, print and radio advertising; print collateral; product and group naming/branding; internal communications, public/government relations and research for a variety of products within the company. In my role, I partnered with senior leaders within Nortel and its distributors. In my marketing and strategy role for the worldwide reIaunch and rebranding of the Enterprise business unit, I won both the Chairman's and President's awards for marketing. I led the development of identity program, brochures, case studies, internal communications, and print and online advertising programs.
