Betterfood is a food preference platform that enables HR, office management, and food service teams to learn employee food preferences and dietary restrictions, order the right meals for meetings and events, and measure food satisfaction. I conducted user research, designed the product experience, and performed usability testing, taking the product from concept through launch.

Design lead for Cortext, Imprivata's secure communications platform for the healthcare industry. Drove design process from concept to development including workflow analysis, competitive research, wireframes, interactive prototypes, high fidelity designs, and testing across all platforms - desktop, web, iOS, Android. Mentored designers, managed assignments, planned project deliverables, and promoted best practices and tools.Selected projects:• Designed sign in method that allows users to scan a QR code, bypassing the need to remember and type username/password. Rated “best new feature” by customers.• Led UX team in first major UX research initiative for Cortext. Conducted interviews and contextual inquiries with doctors, nurses, and IT executives. Developed user personas. Presented research findings to executive sponsors and colleagues.• Spearheaded creation of Axure component / pattern library for fast prototyping through reusable elements and maintaining a consistent look and feel across projects.

Designed web and mobile apps for Hopper, which uses machine learning and big data to gather flight and travel information. Created responsive, interactive prototypes and established Axure as a team design tool. Performed extensive usability testing on usertesting.com. Designed an innovative flight search that shows the best flight prices across a wide range of dates and destinations, including an algorithm to cull and aggregate large sets of flight data.

Designer for Carbonite’s web and mobile products. Led ground-up redesign of outdated reseller portal to support new offerings, bulk account management and a new visual design. Within six months of launch, sales dramatically increased and resellers gave enthusiastic feedback. Led UX team to create Carbonite's first design pattern library.

Designer for Verizon Business web and mobile portals. Designed Verizon Enterprise Center Mobile, the first mobile app at Verizon Business. Won Verizon IT All Star award for leadership and design work. Wrote and presented "Exploring Mobile Usability Testing Methods for Enterprise Users" at 2009 Boston Mini UPA Conference.
