Judy graduated from Qld University with a Bachelor of Human Movement Studies – majoring in Exercise Physiology and later added a Graduate Diploma of Teaching. She began her career in the health & wellness area and due to her being a dual Olympic swimmer became a Swimming Coach and Health Science Co-ordinator at the Australian Institute of Sport before entering the corporate world with MBF Health Management.In 1994, Judy entered the recruitment world with Morgan & Banks and over the next 12 years she gained a wealth of recruitment experience in sales and marketing and executive positions. Her clientele were such as Johnson & Johnson Medical, Diageo, Private Hospitals Association, Uniting Healthcare, Warner Village Theme Parks, Tourism Qld, Paradise Foods, Retravision Qld, Workcover, Surf Life Saving Qld, Roche, Bristol Myer Squibb , Boston Scientific, Kimberley-Clark, Queensland Childrens’ Medical Research Institute, Act for Kids, Mondial Assistance, Australian Carbon Trust to name a few.Judy has been a board member on the Qld Grocery Industry Association, the Queensland Olympic Council - where she held the position as President of the Olympians Club of Queensland for over 15 years. In 2010, Judy was a founding member of the School of Human Movement Studies Advancement Board and also joined Mater Little Miracles as a committee member.In 2012, Judy left the executive recruitment industry to join her husband in his expanding wholesale travel business- Japan Holidays Pty Ltd.
