I have been with HP for over 25 years, starting as a Software Engineer. I am currently the Director of the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and DEI Strategy & Governance. I also have background managing and leading cloud software development teams and working extensively with international teams. I enjoy leading a team to help achieve a company vision, and my work is in an agile environment. I am both a certified Project Management Professional and an Agile Certified Professional as well as having been trained on Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.While I have enjoyed Software Engineering and delivering technical solutions for our customers, I discovered a passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Through volunteering in church and HP's Employee Resources Groups, and most recently joining the HP's DEI team, I am able to make meaningful impact in the areas of inclusion, belonging, racial equality, and social justice for those inside and outside HP.I see problems as opportunities, and agree with the late Zig Ziglar, who said "When you focus on problems, you get more problems. When you focus on opportunities, you have more opportunities."
