Having been a full-time Development Professional for nearly 30 years and worked with a number of exceptional non profit organizations, I recently decided to retire from full-time work. I am enjoying my personal pursuits of fused glass art, traveling and spending more time with family BUT always looking for a special project where I can apply my expertise in fund development, proposal and grant writing, donor relationship building, campaigns and special events. During my almost six years in the development department at EFS, first as Development Assistant in Dallas, then Development Director Dallas and now Senior Development Director for EFS North Texas, the development department has achieved at least 98% of its annual goals and raised more money each year than in any prior year. The 2014-15 “Step Up” program expansion campaign (with a stretch goal of $5 million) raised $6 million, topped off with $ 1 million raised in the Ft. Worth/Tarrant County area. Additionally, I have led, planned, developed and implemented rebranding, messaging and marketing plans that have significantly increased the community awareness of EFS. I am proud to lead a team of 5 and over the past to have raised over $12 million in support of Educational First Steps' mission to increase the number of economically at-risk children who receive a high-quality early education.

Established WaterTower Theatre's first full time Development Office; increased Annual Fund giving by 40%; created, implemented,and executed WaterTower's first ever fundraising event (:Spotlight Gala") which is still held annually; made presentations to the City of Addison, community leaders, corporations, and individuals; executed all development activities; and researched and wrote grants and proposals.

Raised $8.6 Million in the first phase of a multi-million dollar Capital Campaign for a new facility; raised $900.000 each year for Dallas Children's Theater's Annual Fund; developed, implemented, and lead the strategic fundraising plan for the department.
