Management responsibilities for Procurement, Planning, Logistics and ERP enhancements.

Led efforts to convert U.S. part number data base to worldwide corporate system, project scope included 5 U.S. development sites and corporate office in Indianapolis. Project team consisted of IT, Operations and Development representatives in U.S. and Europe. Managed 5 direct reports and control of all released Engineering documentation, Manufacturing and ISO documentation as well as the Change Management System.

Managed strategic and tactical functions for: Process Engineering, Planning, Order Fulfillment, Test Engineering, and New Product Development (NPD), 12 direct reports, held accountability for annual revenue shipments. Directed off shore and domestic contract manufacturers on delivery priorities, assigned resources to address technical issues, training and capital expenditures for both New Product Development and production for Switcher and Intergrated Product Solutions product families.

Oversaw management of 2 Business units Total Quality Systems including; development and maintenance of quality measurements (KPIs), process & product audits, and customer perception improvement projects for products manufactured in the US and Germany. Trained operations, service and engineering personnel in the implementation of the New Product Development process. Conducted internal ISO 9001:2000 audits.

Managed strategic and tactical support of the Router business unit including the following functions: Process Engineering, Planning, Order Fulfillment, Test Engineering, and NPD, 12 direct reports, held accountability for cost reduction and gross margin improvement efforts, achieving and maintaining inventory targets and annual revenue shipments.

Led all Operations new product development activities across 3 business units, 6 product lines and 5 development sites. Managed 5 project managers and 5 engineering support personnel. Directed concurrent manufacturing development including test procedures and diagnostics, process engineering, bill of material structure and procurement of proto, pilot and early production run material. Owner of New product development procedures and member of the change control board.

Directed Operations team in concurrent NPD, responsible for meeting targeted objectives at product launch. Managed multiple significant ROI Improvement projects. Assisted in creation of New Product Development processes, ISO documentation, trained users in New Product Development practices.
