I have 30+ yrs’ experience as a creative management and finance professional actively furthering the strategic plans of organizations with a will to succeed. I have a high energy level and an evaluative methodology that I direct mostly toward finance, IT, and HR, though because I keep my company’s strategic vision in the forefront, I have also managed marketing, sales teams, operations, and manufacturing successfully. With degrees in Finance and Math and I have worked in technology 12 yrs, manufacturing 9 yrs, government 2 yrs, and non-profits (volunteer or paid) for over 30 yrs, holding my first CFO position in 2005. My banking career began in 2009, and I graduated from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado while working for a community bank in Randolph, VT where I lived for 16 yrs and raised 3 children with my husband.I love banking because of the way a local bank can step in to meet the needs of its community, its neighbors. Being a vital part of local success by creating bank policy and strategy is important because volunteerism, entrepreneurship, and small business growth are inextricably tied to creating healthy, flourishing communities. I love giving back and I’ve served on many boards helping the less fortunate, our schools, churches, and the business community, often speaking on behalf of the groups I represent. I love the rich vibrancy of these varied experiences and treasure the long-term relationships forged there. My favorite hobby is as a volunteer tax preparer with the IRS’s VITA and Tax Counseling for the Elderly programs (10 yrs). I presently serve on the boards for CEOMV and the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber and this past year I taught two workshops and a portion of a Mini-MBA program to work with business owners helping them avoid leaving money on the table by understanding their business life cycle and financing needs. I am looking forward to what the coming year will bring!
