• Compiled all contracts & addendums for different Marshall Cavendish Textbook & Activity Books across different subjects (My Pals are Here!, Shaping Math, Math Works etc.) by locating each contract from the database and extracting out information and organising into a compiled excel spreadsheet.• Assisted the editorial department by editing different chapter proofs of ongoing textbook projects through revising any faults or inaccuracies in the different chapter proofs, and ensuring a fair distribution of racial representation in the different types of names used in the textbooks (Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian and African American) that follow the guidelines set.• In charge of purchasing photos required to be used in the textbooks using the organisation’s account, from Shutterstock, Thinkstock, iStockphotos, Dreamstime 123rf etc.• Sourced for alternative photos to be used if unable to purchase the copyrights to use the photos, communicating with and assisting the relevant editors in charge of the project chapter.• Ensured that copyright permissions for photos are cleared within schedules set by Project Managers for all projects assigned• Created the copyrights tracking list for all ongoing projects in the database for all Project Managers to access and refer to when necessary.
