❓What career do you take if your favorite subject at school was actually math and you still like working with other people? And it's also hard to choose a career because you're also interested in lots of other things, like playing the saxophone and clarinet in the band, skiing, mountain climbing, the excavation of Troy, and much more. To study music, archaeology or math?I was in this situation in the mid-1980s. At that time, there were basic computer courses at schools, some people had a C64 at home, and computer science was still a rather exotic but up-and-coming field of study.So, I began studying computer science. After graduating, I got my first job in the savings bank financial group and worked there for over 20 years as a manager, with many great colleagues. Then I wanted to tackle something completely new. I had known Stefan Mock, one of the current managing directors of matrix, for a long time. With his always very positive attitude to his job, he actually made me take the plunge and switch to matrix.
