About Jürgen Dobaj

I am interested in close collaboration with clients, where we design and develop processes and product solutions to deliver secure embedded automotive systems successfully. During my time as a researcher at Graz University of Technology, I mainly worked on industrial research projects that aimed to digitize industrial automation and control systems. I collaborated closely with industry partners to create system and service architectures to enable the digitization and continuous evolution of large-scale automation and control systems, focusing on embedded software safety, security, interoperability, reliability, and resilience. Aside from my project and research work, I taught courses in software quality management and software engineering, as well as functional safety and cybersecurity (with a specific focus on the automotive industry).I also have been working on safety and security consulting projects for automotive tier-1 suppliers since 2018. During this time, I have gained valuable insights and best practices, which I have shared through publication in scientific journals.I am a Provisional Automotive SPICE® Assessor.
