Since Dec. 2005 President of Pearl Izumi which were sold in April 2008 to Shimano American Corp. Our stand alone division is approximately $70mil in annual revenue and currently experiencing it's eighth straight year of revenue and profit growth. My responsibility include the following areas: Global responsibility excluding Asian rim.

I spent the last 17 years in the sporting-goods industry business and grew up in a family owned sporting goods manufacturing & retail business. With my sports equipment experience and a bicycling racing background on the German national team, I began my profession career with Scott USA in Germany and quickly became National Sales Manager for Germany. After two years I was recruited by Scott’s World Headquarters in Switzerland as the Cycling Marketing Manager and one year later assumed responsibility for the Scott Global Cycling Division with worldwide P&L responsibility. I have founded Shore Sportsworks together with J. Sprich in Germany where we provided marketing, consulting, and sales services for Scott, Adidas, Big Pack and other sports brands. The company soon began to specialize in assisting non EU brands develop a business strategy for the EU market and ultimately built a Schwinn Subsidiary which grew the Schwinn Cycling Brand in Europe from $0 to over $25M $.
