Since I was a little kid I have been interested about electronics and electrics and all kinds of moving machines. Most of the time devices that were under investigation did not live long and many times some one else had to put them back to working state. Later on I have managed to save many kinds of devices that someone else have broken. Maybe this is why I have become an Engineer, and now I am even more interested about electronics and mechanics. I have done quite long journey with studying engineering, first I worked many years as a electrical technician for consumer electronics. Then after about 10 years I decided to study more electronics and graduated as an “Engineer, embedded electronics” in 2008. After this I worked several years as an Component and Testing Engineer in industrial electronics production for switch mode power supplies. 2015 I moved to totally different electronics environment, for Engineering at Valtra Tractors (AGCO). First I was working in research lab as “Reliability Engineer” which later changed to “Validation Engineer”. After few years I decided to study more about electrics and graduated “M.Sc Tech, Electrics” and moved to Validation division as an “Validation Engineer, Electrics and Harness”. Now I have been working for Valtra almost nine years and have been working couple of years as an Occupational Health and Safety representative for blue collar people at Valtra. So I am also interested in machine safety and functional safety issues. In my current role I am responsible for validation of electrical components and wire harnesses in new tractor platforms and current products when there is a need to change some electrical parts and sensors. In my work I need good problem-solving capability for electrics and also strong background in power electronics. I am also interested about 3D-printing and 3D-design. As a hobby, this also helps doing some electrical design when you can make different mechanisms and closures to your own products. Because of new interests and studies about renewable energy, battery chemistry and electrical drives I would be interested to use my knowledge and skills to the research and development of electrical drives and battery management and charging facilities. As I am getting older some kind of senior;) title or team lead for small technical research and development group would be interesting. I have over twenty years of experience about electrics and electrical/mechanical industry and still have interests to evolve and find better solutions to machines to have better user experience.
