Main activities of the team are developing Chempolis' Formicoldeli technology concept and providing feasibility studies and process design packages for technology implementation projects. Leading this team already started when Employed by Fortum and continued within Chempolis as whole Bio2X Team was divested by Fortum and combined with Chempolis by Fortum upon acquisition of Chempolis by AM Green.

Leading team to develop Biorefinery concept mostly based on agricultural residue raw material and Chempolis Formicodeli process. Member of Bio2x team management team. 4 reports, all direct. Also leading the functionally combined Technology and Projects team consisting of Bio2X and Chempolis Technology teams until whole activity was transfered to Chempolis.

Responsible of production and product development leading a team of 8 employees. A Challenge to put right a recently built plant aiming to produce fertilizers featuring recycled material. Improving material feed resulted in quality and operation evenness and focused CAPEX on reliability improvement took production reliability to improved level. Unfortunately main recycled raw material availablity deteriorated because of closure of UPM Kaipola Mill. Quick product development action led to creation of new product and even desired quality was achieved within short time frame in few months. Unfortunately process modifications to produce reasonable quantities of the new product turned out too too expensive in relation to expected profits of prduction thus it was reasonable to close down the plant.

Responsible of Voikkaa production site and Managing Director of Solvay Chemicals Finnland Oy, local legal entity. Team size about 50 persons, 5 to 10 direct report. Main achievements:Increasing production capacity by focused debottlenecking investments and improved operating practices. Strong drive on Safety culture improvement, safety practices implemented and housekeeping improved by oboarding whole operating staff. Manufacturing excellence programs improved efficiencies, practices and people inclusion. Reworking organization to better utilize strengths of employees. Successful leadership skill development, trainigs, coaching, reading, reflection etc.

Production process and process control development, product quality improvement. Applying time series data analysis in development work. Implementing KCL-WEDGE mill data analysis system and Fiber dimension analyzer.

Research on Process Control, SImulation and Process Data Analysis using KCL-WEDGE software developed in the company. Some Pulp and paper mill application cases.
