Isojoen kunnanjohtaja Juha Herrala on valittu Kuntaliiton pienten kuntien verkoston uudeksi puheenjohtajaksi.Verkosto edustaa alle 10 000 asukkaan kuntia, joita Suomessa on yli 200. Valtaosa Suomen kunnista kuuluu siis tähän kuntakokoluokkaan. Asukkaita verkoston kunnissa asuu noin 600 000.– Olen iloinen luottamuksesta ja siitä, että muut kuntajohtajat näkevät minun olevan sopiva henkilö tähän. Yhdessä edistämme pienten kuntien asiaa. Tarkoitus on tuoda pienten kuntien tarpeet ja ääni esiin.

The guiding principle of the CBM course is to convey the knowledge required in board work in a short time. Feedback from participants at the course has been excellent and the course has beaten the evaluation high scores of all previous training courses of Tampere and other CCIs in Finland. The courses have been fully booked weeks, even months, in advance. An unprecedented phenomenon is that CBM course participants have been promoting the course on their own initiative. This has resulted in “word of mouth” marketing.The newcomers in the program are CBM introduction training and CBM chairperson course. The introduction training is a very compact training and gives the participant an overall description of board work. The chairperson course gives the participant hands-on tools for the chairperson in order to be able to lead the board.
