I developed machine vision software (written in Qt C++) for an analysis unit Visit® OTOS that provides data for the Visit business analysis cloud service. I also implemented REST API's with Java for this logging device. The SW is running in RTOS (Linux, Ubuntu & LUbuntu distress). The work consisted of all SW development stages (Design, implementation, integration, testing and debugging). Used programming languages are C, C++ and Qt. SQL databases (SQLite) are used to store the data accumulated by the analysis unit. SQL databases are also used to hold the unit's configuration data. Configuring and administrating the Linux devices were also one important part of this job. For these tasks I mainly used self made bash shell scripts and several 3rd party SWs (M/Monit, openVPN, SaltStack to name a few)

Continuation to the same tasks that I did for Renesas Mobile as Broadcom acquired us. In addition to previous job description, I completed a few tasks to LTE Advanced product platform. (3GPP Rel9 & Rel10).

HW PCB assembly of surface mount devices for R&D projects (instrument prototypes). I fulfilled the ad hoc HW requests from the R&D projects, including fixing broken HWs, assembling totally new PCBs and replacing devices on existing boards.

Instrument assembly of ready build HW and mechanical modules for a medical research diagnostics device: VICTOR X Multilabel Plate Reader. Final quality control and functionality testing of the device was also part of the job.I also worked in this position during the semesters (autumn,Christmas, spring) of Turku Polytechnic with an hourly based contract.
