In my role, I deal with IT services. My area covers contract negotiations, conducting tenders and maintaining supplier relations.

In my role as a purchaser I was responsible of the purchasing of long steel and steel castings and forgings for our key customer Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy. I worked in close co-operation with our customer and with our European and Asian suppliers on a daily basis. My duties included purchasing, stock level management and logistics planning. I also took part in developing the company’s processes in purchasing and stock level management.

As a buyer my responsibilities included purchasing, stock control, marketing and assortment management of entertainment products ( music & films ). I operated in a challenging business environment, where overall sales of physical entertainment products ( cd's & dvd's ) diminished rapidly.During my time as a buyer, I planned and carried out numerous successful sales campaigns in co-operation with our international suppliers and stakeholders in sales and marketing. For example, successful Crazy Days campaigns resulted in growth of our overall market share. I also negotiated many top-level artist visits and marketing collaborations, which in many cases led to widespread media attention.

As a buying assistant my main duties included replenishment, product database management and assortment management of music and films ( cd’s & dvd’s ). I also took care of invoice control and approval.

As a sales representative I was responsible of B-to-B sales of music and films ( cd’s & dvd’s ) to the company’s customers in my region ( southern Finland ). My duties also included new customer acquisition. My biggest clients included SOK, Kesko, Hong Kong, Säästöpörssi and ABC. I planned and carried out numerous successful sales campaigns in co-operation with the company’s head office in Turku. My daily routines consisted of 3-4 sales visits and at the same time contacting potential new customers.
